Abyss South Africa invests time and resources in gaining valuable experience in different fields of the industry, both locally and abroad. This serves not only as a networking platform, but provides an opportunity to expose and train previously disadvantaged individuals in a specific area of expertise. Online distribution platforms and Animation are fast-growing fields that have not been monopolised. Abyss South Africa can provide services here-to.
The process of animation is laborious and time consuming, but, as Abyss South Africa has proven, the results can be truly magical. Ruby and Roach is the first of our projects and it has been raking in the awards at local and international film festivals, proving that our unique approach to storytelling is making an impact globally.
There are a number of projects currently in development and we are confident we can build on our success. We are also ready to work together on your project or to co-produce a unique animated adventure with a distinctly African flavour.
